A Raksha Bandhan song for Bhaiya or Didi

Send a tune along with the thread. Dhunzo makes a personalised Raksha Bandhan song for your brother or sister: you write three short things about them, approve the lyrics, and we sing two versions (A and B). Price: ₹199 including GST (launch offer for the first 10,000 customers; then ₹399).

The rakhi goes by courier, the song by WhatsApp: the premiere ticket plays the song with its lyrics, even if you live in different cities or countries.

What to write: five questions

These are the five questions you answer when you order. The first three are needed, the last two optional. One idea for each:

  1. 1 · Who is Bhaiya to you?needed

For example: My little brother, taller than me now, and on my side in every fight.

  2. 2 · A moment only you two shareneeded

For example: As kids, pooling our Rakhi money for one shared ice-cream.

  3. 3 · What makes Bhaiya so Bhaiya?needed

For example: He teases me the most, and never hangs up until I’m home at night.

  4. 4 · What have you never said out loud?optional

For example: After your speech at my wedding, I never managed to say thank you.

  5. 5 · Your wish for themoptional

For example: Your wrist and my thread, together every Rakhi.

For a better song

  • On Rakhi a sister can make the song for her brother, or a brother for his sister.
  • Write what you call them (Bhaiya, Bhai, Chhotu).
  • Make it two days before Rakhi so the thread and the song arrive on the same day.

Sample song: "Half a Maggi"

Dhunzo’s sample song, for a Didi, on Bhai Dooj. Lyrics arrive on a lyric card like this, with the name highlighted. Your song will be built from what you write.

Lyrics, English versionHalf a Maggi

Verse

Priya Didi, remember Nani’s rooftop,

Two in the morning, one bowl of Maggi.

Half for you and half you gave to me,

“Shh! Don’t you dare tell Mummy.”

Chorus

Oh Didi, my Didi,

You’re the scolding and you’re the shield.

Bhai Dooj teeka or our everyday fights,

Without you this house isn’t home.

Questions

How much does a Raksha Bandhan song cost?

₹199 for your first song, for the first 10,000 customers. Then ₹399. GST is included in both.

Paying from outside India? $4.99 at launch, then $9.99.

How early should I order for Raksha Bandhan?

Lyrics usually arrive within minutes, and recording starts as soon as you approve.

Still, order two days ahead: we guarantee lyrics within 24 hours and a recording within 24 hours of approval. If we miss either, you get a full refund automatically.

My brother lives abroad. Will he get the song?

Yes. The song plays from a WhatsApp link anywhere in the world. If you’re paying from outside India, the price is $4.99 at launch, then $9.99.

Can one song be for two brothers?

Each order is for one rishta. Two brothers get the most personal songs as two orders, because each song is built from what you write about them.

Is it made with AI?

Yes. Dhunzo writes and sings songs with the help of AI, and every gift page clearly says “Made with AI”.

If lyrics run late, a human songwriter finishes them. We never imitate a singer’s voice or copy a film song.

Who is it for?

Three minutes to write about them, a few minutes to the lyrics.
